In this contract opportunity, you'll deliver services to a diverse caseload of children and collaborate closely with educators and families to help each student thrive. Whether you’re an experienced clinician or a Clinical Fellow (CF) eager to start your career, your expertise is valued and needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Strong background in pediatric, educational, or healthcare speech-language pathology
- Experience or interest in working within school systems (including SLP-CFY applicants)
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting children with diverse communication needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret results to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation for student progress and compliance requirements
- Provide support and guidance to families and educators regarding student needs and strategies for success
