Immediately interviewing for Machine Operators for this full time job opportunity on either 1st or 2nd shift. The General Production Worker will be responsible for gathering and loading the material into the production machines, monitoring the machines, and inspecting the parts before going to the next stage in the production process. Prior experience working in a fast paced production/manufacturing environment, having a general mechanical knowledge, and assembly or machine operating skills would be a qualified candidate to be considered for this position. Specific experience with any type of metal is a plus for this role. This is a long term opportunity that pays weekly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities required to effectively lay out work and set-up machines or equipment.
• Monitoring the production machines and making adjustments to the machines as needed
• Completing quality checks and inspecting parts for defects before going to the next stage in the production process
• Meet or exceed fabrication and customer requirements as per design specifications and published schedules.
• Read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend all forms of written and/or verbal instructions, including blueprints.
• Troubleshoot machine problems and perform preventative maintenance.
• Efficiently utilize resources to minimize scrap, materials, and labor.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Souderton, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
