Licensed Therapist LMHC · LCSW · LMFT Department: Clinical Services Reports To: Clinical Director / Practice Owner Location: Davie, FL · In-Person & Telehealth Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor ABOUT SUPPORTIVE ENGAGEMENT Supportive Engagement is a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed group practice in Davie, Florida, serving individuals and families across the lifespan. We are growing our interdisciplinary team and seeking licensed therapists who are passionate about specialized, relationship-centered care. We are not a one-size-fits-all practice — we look for clinicians who bring a niche, a genuine perspective, and a deep commitment to meeting people where they are. CRITICAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy using evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed approaches • Maintain a caseload aligned with your specialty area (e.g., play therapy, perinatal mental health, ADHD, autism, trauma, couples) • Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely within the EHR system • Participate in monthly team meetings, peer consultation, and professional development • Collaborate interdisciplinarily with OT, evaluation, and community programming teams as appropriate • Represent Supportive Engagement's mission and values in all client and community interactions • Contribute to a culture of belonging, curiosity, and continuous growth within the team REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Active Florida license as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT (or registered intern actively pursuing licensure) • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with children, adolescents, adults, or families • Demonstrated commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care • Strong ethical grounding, professional boundaries, and reliable documentation practices • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Specialty certification or active pursuit of: Registered Play Therapist (RPT), AutPlay Therapy Provider, EMDR, DBT, Gottman, IFS or similar • Experience working with neurodivergent populations (ADHD, Autism, twice-exceptional, sensory processing) • Experience with perinatal mental health, trauma, executive functioning, or family systems • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, Portuguese is a plus • Existing caseload or referral relationships a plus VALUES WE SEEK • Belonging — You create environments where clients feel accepted exactly as they are, without the need to mask or perform • Connection — You believe healing happens through authentic relationship, not just technique • Compassion — You lead with curiosity and empathy, meeting people where they are without judgment • Advocacy — You empower clients and families to find their voice and navigate systems with confidence • Growth — You are committed to your own professional development and continuous learning • Alignment — You don't just want a job.
