Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2232 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week • 12-hour day/PM shifts: options include 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, or 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM • Every other weekend and every other holiday required • May be required to float to other locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley • On-call possibility but would be asked in advance and would rarely occur • Work in a Trauma Level II, 18-bed emergency department unit that is stroke certified • Care for a diverse patient population including cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory patients • Fast-paced environment with 3-4 patients per nurse • Responsibilities include drawing labs, performing nebulizer treatments, and charting in Epic • Pyxis medication dispenser used for medication management • Radiology staff and respiratory therapy available on-site in the emergency department • Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level I or II experience required for those without prior travel experience • Prior travel experience preferred • EPIC charting experience required • Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA) • Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred • Scrub color: any color Facility: This facility is a Trauma Level II hospital featuring an 18-bed emergency department that is stroke certified and equipped to handle a wide range of complex medical cases including cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory conditions. The emergency department is supported by in-house laboratory services, on-site radiology staff, and respiratory therapy, ensuring comprehensive care for patients in a fast-paced environment. The facility utilizes Epic for electronic charting and Pyxis for medication management, reflecting its commitment to modern, efficient healthcare delivery.
