Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Fellowship

Overview WellNow Urgent Care’s Fellowship Program is a minimum 9‑month continuing specialty rotation designed to enhance clinical experience in Urgent Care Medicine. The fellowship is nationally accredited by the College of Urgent Care Medicine® (CUCM) and the Urgent Care Association® (UCA). Fellows receive one‑on‑one preceptorship with experienced Faculty, hands‑on patient care, didactic lectures, and mentorship to develop competent, proficient, and professional urgent care providers. Salary Annual salary: $85,000. Signing bonus: $10,000 for qualified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Responsibilities Collaborate with Urgent Care teams under mentorship of experienced NP/PA to provide patient care across all ages. Examine, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and exacerbations of chronic disease. Order evidence‑based testing, prescribe medications, and refer to outside specialists as required. Provide occupational medicine services including DOT exams and treatment of Worker’s Compensation injuries. Perform pre‑participation physicals for camps, sports, and employment. Maintain accurate, comprehensive electronic medical record entries. Qualifications Accredited PA or FNP program completion. Active board certification: NCCPA for PAs; AANP or ANCC for Family Nurse Practitioners. Licensure as PA or Family NP in the state of application.
