Patient Access Coordinator

To facilitate a smooth patient admission process, the full-time remote Patient Access Coordinator will manage referral activities, oversee admission workflows, and coordinate necessary documentation and approvals while collaborating with various teams. Key responsibilities Initiates patient referrals by establishing accounts in referral management platforms and entering demographic information Coordinates admission logistics, including bed assignments and necessary paperwork, while ensuring insurance verification is complete Maintains accuracy of the pending referral log and participates in quality improvement initiatives within the interdisciplinary team Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred Preference for a healthcare-related area of concentration or equivalent experience Experience in a healthcare-related area is preferred, with post-acute care experience as a plus Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry and referral management systems Fluency in English, both written and spoken Virtual Vocations Inc
