School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

A school district in the Greater Houston area is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based opportunity. This position welcomes both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. Position Details:

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Setting: School-Based (K-12)
Schedule: Monday-Friday during school hours
Caseload: Assigned based on district needs and candidate experience
Clinical Fellowship supervision available

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and educational goals
Provide direct speech-language services in individual and small group settings
Address communication areas including articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, social communication, and related speech-language needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
Supervision and mentorship available for Clinical Fellows
School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
