Family Law Paralegal We are recruiting for a full-time Junior Family Law Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join an established family law practice in Clinton, New Jersey . This is a direct-hire opportunity for someone who has a strong foundation in New Jersey family law, enjoys working directly with clients and attorneys, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where organization, professionalism, and attention to detail matter. Schedule & Compensation Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM Salary: $60,000–$70,000, depending on experience Benefits: Full benefits package Employment: Full-time, direct hire Work Arrangement: This position is fully in-person for the first 120 days . After that introductory period, the position may transition to a hybrid work arrangement based on business needs and performance. What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll work closely with a senior paralegal and attorneys while supporting active family law matters from both a legal and administrative perspective. Responsibilities include: Preparing and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and Case Information Statements Filing pleadings with the court Maintaining organized and accurate case documentation Communicating directly with clients throughout various stages of their cases Managing attorney calendars, court dates, deadlines, and other critical case milestones Coordinating the delivery of subpoenas and other legal documents Providing day-to-day administrative and case support to attorneys and the senior paralegal Helping ensure cases move forward accurately, professionally, and on schedule Qualifications: 1–3 years of New Jersey family law experience Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution or currently enrolled in a program with the ability to obtain the certificate within one year of employment If you have New Jersey family law experience and are looking for your next long-term opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
