Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Shipping & Receiving Supervisor Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and team leadership. This role is responsible for coordinating freight, maintaining efficient warehouse processes, and ensuring a safe, organized, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all inbound and outbound LTL and truckload (TL) shipments. Schedule deliveries and ensure timely receipt and shipment of materials. Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations and lead a small warehouse team. Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, storage, and documentation of inventory. Collaborate with internal departments to support production and material flow. Monitor inventory levels and investigate inventory discrepancies. Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment. Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Identify and implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution environment. Experience coordinating LTL and truckload freight shipments. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software. Forklift experience and familiarity with material handling equipment. Working knowledge of UPS and Fed Ex Shipping software Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer-based inventory systems. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
