Drug Testing Lead

Position Overview The phlebotomy supervisor is responsible for oversight of the Occupational Health drug testing and phlebotomy staff operations. They oversee the work of the team, ensuring coverage of all areas and adherence to policies and procedures. Specifics Position: Drug Testing Lead Department: Occupational Health Location: Gateway Regional Medical Center, 2100 Madison Ave., Granite City, IL 62040 Position Status: Full-time Work Schedule: Days, 40 hours per week Education Qualifications Required: High school graduate or equivalent Preferred: Coursework in biology and chemistry Required: Ability to read and understand written data Required: Good verbal communication skills and data entry skills Certification Qualifications Required: Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology, or 3 years of hospital phlebotomy experience, or equivalent Required: Federal Drug and Alcohol certification within 3 weeks of hire Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification within 3 months of hire Experience Qualifications Minimum of two years phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting with demonstrated advanced skill in venipuncture. Pay Range The pay range for this position is $23.80 - $35.70 per hour.
