You'll own or lead design and test aircraft electronic/electrical systems used on fighters, trainers, unmanned systems and weapon systems. You will translate customer requirements into architectures, define verification strategies, and help solve real-world integration problems from lab to flight.This position spans the technology development life cycle, including requirements generation, system design and implementation, integration, and test. Some example products within the portfolios include: Fighters (F-15, F/A-18, & F-22)F-47T-7A TrainersMQ-25JDAMHarpoonCome join our team and make a career out of making a difference Position Responsibilities:Lead requirements decomposition and traceability from customer need to testable design.Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements according to contract requirements and customer feedbackDesign hardware, software, and interface specificationsUnderstand and apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and conceptsDevelop statement-of-work and technical performance specificationsAnalyze, translate, and implement customer requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycleDefines test and validation approach to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsTroubleshoot integration and sustainment anomalies across hardware/software life cycles.Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements and for potential application to internal business strategiesMonitor supplier performance to ensure system integrity and compliance with requirementsCoordinate suppliers, test labs, and cross-discipline engineering to deliver on schedule and cost.Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleMentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements and technical standardsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
