Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required. License: Active state license required. Certifications: BLS & ACLS required. Must-Have: - PICC line management and experience with starting IVs required. - Previous charge experience preferred. - Cerner experience preferred. Description: Position available for a CVICU Registered Nurse. Shift consists of 4x12-hour days or 3x12-hour days, with every third weekend required. First-timers are accepted for this position. Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs. Open to accommodating block schedules; connect with the manager to discuss schedule requests. No radius restrictions for locals. RTO restrictions ideally limit to no more than 5 days. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without compensation for the canceled hours. Special requirements include proficiency in PICC line management and starting IVs. Patient ratio on the unit is 2 patients per nurse. The daily census is approximately 6 patients. The unit is equipped with 8 beds. Candidates must have experience in various essential skills related to cardiovascular patient care.
