Security Operations ManagerCitadel Security USA is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily execution of assigned security contracts in the Fort Collins area. This position plays a key role in maintaining reliable staffing, operational consistency, compliance, and service quality across assigned posts.The Operations Manager works closely with site supervisors, field personnel, and the District Manager to identify operational needs, resolve issues, maintain workforce readiness, and ensure services are delivered according to established requirements. The position also supports employee development, client communication, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations across assigned posts and ensure required coverage is maintained.Monitor field performance and address operational concerns before they affect service continuity.Coordinate with supervisors and field personnel to maintain consistent execution of post responsibilities.Review operational challenges and implement practical corrective actions.Support the District Manager with escalated field issues and ongoing operational priorities.Help ensure assigned contracts remain aligned with established service expectations and company procedures.Coordinate staffing needs, schedule coverage, call-offs, vacancies, and other workforce requirements.Monitor labor utilization and assist with controlling unnecessary overtime and staffing gaps.Work with site leadership to identify upcoming staffing needs and maintain adequate workforce coverage.Review attendance and scheduling concerns and assist with appropriate follow-up.Promote reliable staffing practices that support employee retention and consistent service delivery.Monitor employee licensing, credentials, training, and position-specific qualifications.Help ensure personnel assigned to posts meet applicable company and regulatory requirements.Maintain awareness of applicable state licensing and guard card requirements.Identify compliance gaps and coordinate corrective action when necessary.Support audits, inspections, documentation reviews, and other quality-control activities.Support recruiting efforts by identifying staffing needs and communicating requirements to the appropriate teams.Participate in candidate screening, interviews, hiring recommendations, and onboarding activities as needed.Help ensure newly assigned employees understand post expectations, procedures, and company standards.Support employee development, coaching, and performance improvement efforts.Encourage accountability, professionalism, and dependable attendance among assigned personnel.Monitor the availability and condition of required uniforms, equipment, access credentials, and other assigned assets.Coordinate with site leadership to address equipment shortages, replacements, or accountability concerns.Promote proper handling and documentation of company and client property.Help ensure field personnel have the resources necessary to perform their assigned responsibilities.Serve as a field-level point of coordination between site leadership, field personnel, and the District Manager.Support implementation of operational procedures and service expectations at assigned locations.Conduct or assist with site visits, inspections, and quality reviews.Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Respond professionally to operational concerns and help develop timely solutions.Maintain clear communication regarding staffing, performance, service issues, and corrective actions.Support positive client relationships through dependable follow-through and consistent service delivery.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience in private security, law enforcement, military, or a related field.Valid driver's license required.Must be 21 years of age or older.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, management, and clients.Demonstrated ability to address workplace issues professionally and make sound operational decisions.Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee, client, and operational information.Preferred QualificationsAssociate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Previous experience managing workforce scheduling, staffing coordination, or contract-based services.Experience with workforce management or employee timekeeping systems.TrackTik experience preferred.Working knowledge of applicable state licensing and guard card requirements.Experience supporting multi-post or multi-location operations.Background in quality assurance, compliance monitoring, employee development, or contract operations.Skills & Core CompetenciesWorkforce planning and schedulingLeadership and team coordinationOperational problem-solvingLabor and staffing managementCompliance and credential trackingQuality assurance and performance monitoringClient communicationEmployee coaching and developmentWritten and verbal communicationTime management and organizationCorrective action and issue resolutionProfessional judgment and discretionEqual Opportunity EmployerCitadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
