We are seeking a qualified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner NP for an immediate opening. Our client is a private, non-profit organization licensed by the State of Florida and accredited by CARF International. Our mission is to strengthen lives with compassionate healing. Our client offers the following benefits:

Job Responsibilities As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner NP you will be responsible for planning and implementation of the primary care service delivery to patients per health care plan and written protocols. Provide primary, secondary and tertiary care, including counseling and referral within multidisciplinary team.

Additional responsibilities for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner NP include:

Monday - Thursday (4 10 hour shifts)Outpatient seeing primarily children/adolescent patientsThe ARNP will be responsible to conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose psychiatric conditions, prescribe appropriate medication and provide medication management for patients.

Job Requirements We are looking for dedicated and professional Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner NP who are committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Specific qualifications for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner NP role include:Master's Degree from an accredited college or universityPsychiatric CertifiedAdvanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida (Limited Licensure accepted temporarily)Experience or background/exposure in Psych NursingFamiliarity with psychotropic medicationsWorking knowledge of the DSM IV - Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
