Description
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and craft personalized rehabilitation plans
  • Deliver a wide range of physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, endurance, strength, and overall function
  • Work in tandem with an integrated team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Guide patients and their families in understanding treatment objectives, discharge processes, and recommended home exercises
  • Record evaluations, treatment procedures, and patient progress adhering to facility and relevant regulations
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and care rounds to enhance coordinated patient care
Education
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree recognized by an accredited institution
Certifications
  • Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification is advisable
  • Specialized certifications (such as neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous, though not mandatory
Skills
  • Previous relevant experience is strongly preferred
  • Capability to assist patients with intricate medical histories and mobility challenges
