Location: South Dallas, TX — Local daily route to Arlington, TX

Employment Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Route: Driver reports to South Dallas each morning before operating the daily local route to Arlington.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver for a full-time, direct-hire position based in South Dallas. This is a local driving opportunity operating a 53-foot tractor-trailer on a daily route between South Dallas and Arlington.

The ideal candidate has a strong safety mindset, dependable attendance, and experience operating Class A commercial vehicles in local traffic and delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

Report to the South Dallas location at the beginning of each scheduled shift.
Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle with a 53-foot trailer.
Drive the assigned local route between South Dallas and Arlington.
Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Follow DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and applicable traffic laws.
Maintain required driver logs, inspection records, and transportation documentation.
Communicate professionally regarding route, equipment, or scheduling issues.
Maintain safe and professional operation of assigned equipment.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.
Experience operating tractor-trailers in local or comparable commercial driving environments.
Experience safely maneuvering commercial vehicles and 53-foot trailers.

Nice-to-Have Experience

Previous local driving experience in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Experience with daily dedicated or repeat routes.
Experience operating in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or transportation environments.

Required Skills

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with the ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer.
No restrictions when it comes to manual and automatic.
53-foot trailer operation, including safe backing, maneuvering, coupling, and uncoupling.
DOT safety and compliance, including pre-trip/post-trip inspections and safe commercial vehicle operation.
