Wage band range $70,000 - $80,000; however, starting pay is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

As the largest non-profit provider of children's and adolescent mental health services in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, Casa Pacifica specializes in treating children and young adults who struggle with complex mental health challenges such as emotional dysregulation, self-harm, anxiety, and depression. Our multi-disciplinary staff of highly trained clinicians, psychologists, educators, therapists and mental health workers provide exceptional, evidence-based care to help our youth overcome a wide array of mental health challenges.
Casa Pacifica's Camarillo, Goleta, and Santa Maria offices work with more than 2,000 at-risk children, families, and young adults annually in outpatient, residential, home, and community-based settings. Our main Camarillo campus, located on 25 acres of beautiful park-like grounds, provides a nurturing and therapeutic environment for youth to overcome challenges, to find hope, and to heal.

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Clinical Program Manager, is responsible for providing and implementing the clinical therapy component of the overall treatment plan. Clinician I will manage cases of assigned clients within their assigned program.
The Clinician I is responsible for carrying out the mission of Casa Pacifica as it relates to on-going clinical assessment, evaluation and progress of the youth within Casa Pacifica.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (illustrated by typical activities):
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of referred youth and families to identify strengths, needs, and risk factors.
- Develop individualized treatment and discharge plans in collaboration with the youth, family members, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Implement evidence-based interventions designed to address treatment goals including but not limited to individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with other service providers involved in the youth's life, such as probation officers, school personnel, child welfare workers, and community resources, to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of youth and families throughout the course of treatment, adjusting interventions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance clinical skills.
- Maintains compliance with all local, County, State, and Federal government regulations to include Title 22, Division 6, and prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Attends outside training events and conferences as requested.

- Maintains confidentiality in all matters within the organization with respect to personnel, operations and clients.
- May perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Position requires staff must be at least 21 years of age. Completed and cleared Livescan, criminal statement, health screening with TB test. Must undergo a one-hour training which reviews mandatory reporting requirements as per Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA). This training takes place during pre-service orientation training and periodically thereafter.
Valid driver's license is required for transporting youths. Any changes that occurs on your driving record must be reported immediately to your supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
- Masters level, registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) with up to 3 years of experience working with severely emotionally disturbed youth including competency in completing comprehensive biopsychosocial leading to a DSM diagnosis and treatment, and behavior management.
CREDENTIALS: Must be eligible to register with BBS/APA as APCC, AMFT, ASW, or MFTI.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
- Ability to use various computers Software, Microsoft Office Suites.
- Bilingual in Spanish, a plus. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Language Skills : Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to write comprehensive evaluations and progress notes/ reports on youth's treatment goals.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
