About the Position

• Optimize Imaging Techniques

  • Utilize appropriate kV and mA settings to ensure high-quality diagnostic CT images.

• Equipment Quality Control

  • Perform daily calibration checks on all equipment to verify proper functionality before patient studies.

• Radiopharmaceutical Administration

  • Administer radioactive material to patients as per physician orders, adhering to established protocols.

• Regulatory Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records by completing required logs, manuals, and charge documents.

  • Report equipment malfunctions promptly to comply with regulatory standards.

• Quality Assurance & Safety

  • Conduct quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests.

  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with the ALARA principle.

• Patient Data Management

  • Maintain, develop, and retrieve patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.

• Radiopharmaceutical Preparation

  • Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day in advance.

  • Verify proper receipt and activity levels of doses upon delivery, following institutional policies.
