Sales Consultant – Sanford, NC We are seeking experienced full‑time Sales Consultants to join our winning team at John Hiester Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. This fast‑paced dealership offers a fun and exciting career path for individuals who have the desire to succeed. Responsibilities Greet and assist guests to identify their vehicle needs. Follow the Hiester Automotive sales process with each guest. Explain and review the features of guest vehicles before and after purchase. Complete necessary vehicle sale paperwork accurately and forward it to the Finance Manager. Research available vehicles and relevant products. Listen to customers to determine their needs and provide options. Follow up with prospective customers via calls, texts, and emails. Maintain a follow‑up system to encourage repeat business and referrals. Stay abreast of new features, accessories, and translate their benefits to guests. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain and update notes and information in a customer database. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required. Positive, eager‑to‑learn attitude. High School Diploma. Valid and active driver’s license. Professional appearance and pleasant, courteous personality. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong computer and phone skills.Strong organizational skills. Compensation This is a commission‑based sales position with the most aggressive pay plan in the area. Duties include finding out the customer’s wants and needs, helping them select a vehicle, working the deal through the Sales Desk including obtaining a trade appraisal from the used‑car manager, working numbers through the Sales Manager, presenting numbers to the customer, communicating the details of the deal to F&I, and finally delivering the vehicle to the customer. Previous sales experience is not required but highly beneficial.
