In this role, you'll partner with patients of all ages and health backgrounds to help them reach their nutrition and wellness goals. Working with our medical providers, you'll develop personalized nutrition plans tailored to each patient's medical needs. You'll also provide ongoing education and support to patients and their families, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to ensure long-term success.Essential Job FunctionsConduct thorough assessments of patients' lifestyle, nutritional habits, and health needsCollaborate with patients to set realistic, personalized nutrition goalsProvide clear, evidence-based education to help patients understand how nutrition impacts their healthMonitor patient progress, make timely adjustments to nutrition plans, and document outcomesCoordinate care and communicate effectively with healthcare team members, including medical providers and health coachesEducate patients and their families on the importance of proper nutrition for disease prevention and overall healthAs needed, assist patients in establishing personalized goals related to sleep, stress management, and other key lifestyle behaviors that support overall wellnessAssist with body composition and metabolism testing as needed, and provide personalized recommendations based on individual resultsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, or a related fieldRegistered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification and/or current Utah state licensureSuccessful completion of an accredited program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly ADA)Current certification as a Certified Dietitian in the State of UtahStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple patients, nutrition plans, schedules, and prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCompassionate, empathetic, and attentive to individual patient needs and concernsHoursThis is a full-time positionOur office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm***Spanish speaking skills are useful, but not required
