About the Role:

Guardian Residential Services LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our residential team in Stafford, VA. This weekend day shift position (10a–10p) is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities while being part of a supportive care team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to residents during weekend day shift hours (10am–10pm)
• Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
• Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately
• Administer medications and follow health care protocols as directed
• Facilitate community integration and recreational activities for residents
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive residential environment
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and family members regarding resident needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, or in a residential care setting preferred
• Ability to work weekend day shifts consistently (Saturday and/or Sunday, 10am–10pm)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Valid driver's license preferred
