ABA Child Interventionist / Behavior Technician / RBT - Part Time

Child Interventionist, Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) M-F 4:30-7pm M-F 2:30-5:30pm Butterfly Effects' Mission is to make a socially significant change in the lives of children and families by hiring passionate, caring people to serve children and families affected by autism. Certification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained. Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with children. Positive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families. Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous. Continuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development. Transportation: Must have reliable transportation. Background: Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check. What Would You Be Doing? Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA). Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily. Manages challenging behaviors. Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients. Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills. Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients. Functions as an active member of the treatment team. Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database. Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills. Maintains confidentiality of client information. Follows BE policies and procedures.
