Supply Planner – Raw Product

Pay: $26/hr | Mon–Fri

The Supply Planner manages raw ingredient inventory and replenishment for organic tender leaf and heart lettuces based on weekly production needs. This role ensures the right product is sourced, quality standards are met, and suppliers are aligned with production schedules. Works closely with growers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain supply flow, resolve issues, and support planning.

Responsibilities:

• Review weekly production demand and raw product inventory
• Maintain order fill, quality, and cost targets
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and growers
• Select and assign raw product for local and regional operations
• Create purchase and harvest orders and communicate with suppliers daily
• Ensure raw quality standards and manage rejection notices
• Coordinate with Harvest Managers to balance timing and product use
• Manage transfers, seasonal transitions, and weekly harvest plans
• Report weights for billing and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate supply changes and troubleshoot shortages or quality issues
• Support process improvements and field evaluations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years related experience (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of agricultural commodities and food safety/GMPs
• Microsoft Office skills; BC system experience preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and planning abilities
• Basic math skills; valid driver’s license
• Ability to make independent decisions and work in a fast-paced environment
