The employee in this position must be able to read and proficiently use a tape measure. Duties & Responsibilities Fabricates and assembles a broad variety of standard and specialized rollers Must be able to identify various tube gauges and breaking types Must be able to safely operate saws and automated machines to cut, press, crimp, and straighten rollers Crates and bands rollers for shipping and storage Performs minor maintenance when required Operate fork truck to move and relocate material and product Notifies supervisor of any unusual conditions of material and shop equipment Must be able to read a tape measure and understand fractions and decimals Meets acceptable time/work schedules Keeps immediate work area clean and orderly Works in accordance with established safety policies Perform other duties as assigned. Education Requirements Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred). Forklift experience and license (preferred). Experience with and knowledge of standard hand tools. High school diploma or equivalent. Technical Skills Must be proficient with reading a measuring tape. #J-18808-Ljbffr
