An award-winning beachfront lifestyle resort on Florida's Gulf Coast is searching for an entrepreneurial Director of Sales & Marketing to help shape the next chapter of one of the region's most exciting hospitality brands.

This isn't a traditional resort sales role. It's an opportunity to build demand for a resort that blends exceptional dining, live entertainment, wellness, waterfront experiences, and community into one unforgettable destination.

About the Opportunity

You'll lead all commercial strategy across group sales, leisure, catering, revenue collaboration, marketing, public relations, partnerships, and local engagement.

We're looking for someone who thrives in an ownership-minded environment—someone equally comfortable closing a corporate retreat, developing luxury leisure partnerships, hosting clients over sunset cocktails, collaborating on brand campaigns, and creating signature experiences that put the resort on everyone's radar.

This is a highly visible executive leadership role with significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead all sales, marketing, and commercial strategy
• Grow group, corporate, association, social, and leisure business
• Drive catering and special event revenue
• Expand travel advisor, wholesale, and strategic partnership channels
• Collaborate with revenue management to maximize ADR, occupancy, and profitability
• Build local and regional partnerships that elevate the resort's presence
• Develop innovative programming that creates year-round demand
• Recruit, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team
• Represent the resort throughout the hospitality industry and community

Qualifications

• Five or more years of resort sales leadership experience
• Proven success leading commercial strategy in a full-service resort
• Strong understanding of group, leisure, catering, and transient business
• Experience leading or partnering closely with marketing initiatives
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for lifestyle hospitality
• Independent luxury, lifestyle, or destination resort experience strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $90,000–$100,000, based on experience
