Job Description Starling Physicians has a current opening for a Board Certified Nephrologist . Why choose a general hospitalist job when nephrology hospitalist opportunity allows you to fully utilize your training. We are looking for BE/BC Nephrologists interested to focus on Hospital care as inpatient-focused nephrologist performing consultative nephrology services including management of AKI, electrolyte abnormalities, ICU nephrology, CRRT, acute hemo and peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis services. We strongly believe in a team approach, and you will be part of weekly rotation with 3-4 Nephrologists and 2 advance practitioners dedicated to full time hospital work. Resident and advanced practitioner teaching opportunities. Join a team of 15 Nephrologists, representing general, interventional and transplant nephrology. 7 on / 7 off service, no admitting / consultative only, sharing with approximately 1 in 15 from-home night call. Our team includes an Inpatient nephrology nurse navigator, and fulltime 24/7 access surgery service (no lines to place), and integrated renal transplant service support. Requirements Must be able to obtain Connecticut licensure before you begin practicing. Board Certification and DEA license required.
