The Team The Data Programs & Insights team sits at the heart of Salesforce's product data strategy, owning the operational and governance frameworks that power executive-level financial reporting across our entire product suite. We are the authoritative source for the product components of the Accountability Performance Matrix (APM), the backbone of Salesforce's pipeline, ACV, AOV, and attrition reporting used in every executive review, product strategy discussion, and financial planning cycle. Salesforce is undergoing a major data transformation: modernizing data foundations to improve data quality, simplify revenue operations processes, rethink how we measure success, and make data available in near real-time across the company. This team bridges Product Strategy and Data Engineering — turning complex business needs into scalable data systems while overseeing governance of core product data across the organization. We operate at the intersection of analytical rigor, operational excellence, and cross-functional influence, with direct visibility into decisions that shape Salesforce's long-term data strategy. The Role We are seeking an operationally minded, analytical Senior Manager, Data Operations & Governance to lead a function focused on APM Governance. This role is a high-impact operational leadership position at the crossroads of Product Strategy, Data Engineering, Specialized Sales, and Finance. While this role does not have direct reports, you will drive complex enterprise processes, steer cross-functional projects, and provide guidance across multiple teams. You will be responsible for the accuracy, day-to-day operations, and long-term governance of Salesforce's master product hierarchy and product allocations framework within the Accountability Performance Matrix (APM). The APM powers executive financial reviews, product strategy discussions, and revenue tracking conversations. As the product portfolio grows, this role scales the function and leads this work forward. You will also partner with the Data Engineering & Technology (DET) team as we move from a legacy manual system to the automated APM 2.0 framework. What You l Be Doing Master Product Hierarchy & APM Governance Own end-to-end APM data governance, including Product and Industry dimensions, M&A-related data, and downstream impacts to dashboards and reporting tools Manage the full lifecycle of a multi-tier APM hierarchy from creation and validation to error resolution, evolving and automating legacy processes and leveraging AI to drive efficiency without sacrificing accuracy Partner with DET on custom SQL query updates and with the Finance Data Office (FiDO) to signal readiness for table updates and republishes as new logic is added Lead UAT and define structural design requirements needed to migrate all hierarchies and allocations into a new, business-user-friendly UI framework Serve as the formal Product approver for all Pricing and Packaging Operations cases, ensuring consistent data governance across all updates Drive change management to protect data integrity across quarterly and fiscal year transitions, keeping key partners informed of any changes System-based Data management & Forecast Alignment (Org62 CRM) Define and maintain Product Allocation fields in Org62 CRM to support accurate ACV splits across products and accurate specialized seller forecasting & reporting Lead data execution for Product as part of the annual Go-For-Growth (G4G) process in partnership with the Specialization Sales and Territory Ops — including user testing, approvals, and driving the multi-month effort to map new fiscal year APM changes across product and industry verticals New Product Introduction & Complex Bundle Allocation As part of the NPI process, ensure all new SKUs are properly positioned across multi-tiered product structures and correctly mapped at the time of each monthly product launch You're Our Person If... Education & Experience: Bachelor9s degree in Business Analytics, Operations, Finance, or a related field; 8+ years of experience in Business Operations, Sales Operations, or data governance Technical Skills: Strong SQL and Snowflake skills required; comfortable working with complex data workflows, transformation logic, and large databases Cross-Functional Leadership: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate across Product, Data Engineering, and Finance in a fast-paced enterprise environment Growth Mindset & Autonomy: Self-motivated and collaborative, with strong influencing skills, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to approach problems with an open mind in a constantly evolving environment Even Better If... 3+ years leading teams with a track record of successfully managing and scaling processes Background in StratOps, Business Operations, or a Business Analyst role with exposure to complex data and systems Familiarity with software revenue recognition principles and how CRM configurations connect to corporate finance requirements Experience leading or partnering on a transition from manual tracking tools to automated, cloud-based data platforms Accommodations and Privacy If you need a reasonable accommodation during the application or the recruiting process, please submit a request via the Accommodations Request Form.
