Accounts Payable Clerk

Castle Development Group is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This position operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, processing a large number of invoices and payments. If you are organized, accurate under pressure, and comfortable managing competing deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail we’d love to connect. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice entry, vendor communication, and timely payments Review, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and proper coding Prepare and process check runs, and ACH payments in accordance with payment schedules Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and documentation Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Set up new vendors and maintain accurate vendor master file information Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and increase efficiency given the high transaction volume Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1–3 years of accounts payable experience ideally in a high-volume environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook Experience with accounting or ERP software preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while managing a high volume of transactions At Castle Development Group, we believe in rewarding great work and investing in our people.
