Retail Associate Student Health Service

The pharmacy retail associate supports daily pharmacy operations by delivering excellent customer service, assisting with front end retail tasks, and works closely with technicians and pharmacists to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming pharmacy environment. The desired candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. A candidate with strong attention to detail and dependability is desired.

Job Summary

Utilizes point of sale system to complete sales transactions and processes exchanges and returns. Designs appealing store displays, replenishes stock items, and inventories stock and sales areas. Adheres to loss prevention policies. Delivers effective customer service and fulfills order requests.

Essential Functions:

• Utilize point of sale system to complete sales transactions for prescriptions and over the counter items
• Follow all HIPAA, safety and pharmacy policies
• Restock shelves, rotate inventory and assist with merchandise displays
• Maintain product inventory by unloading daily deliveries and reordering when appropriate
• Maintain supply and organization of pharmacy supplies
• Answer phones and route calls appropriately
• Refers to supervisors for assigned tasks and any applicable questions or concerns

Physical Effort:

The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent walking, bending and reaching.
