Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within the operating room setting across a range of surgical specialties
• Deliver skilled intraoperative nursing support for neuro, orthopedic, transplant, trauma, and vascular procedures
• Float to other units or areas as needed based on staffing requirements
• Maintain accurate patient assessments, documentation, and communication throughout the surgical episode of care
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the Operating Room specialty
• Strong experience in neuro, orthopedic, transplant (kidney/liver), trauma, and vascular surgical services
• Must pass a telemetry/cardiac rhythm interpretation exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; strict criteria apply for lethal rhythm identification)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or high-acuity academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation across both adult and pediatric populations
