About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, including 1 prior travel assignment License: Must have an active nursing license Certifications: C-EFM through NCC, ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE required Must-Have: High-risk labor and delivery experience Ability to assist with high-risk deliveries Experience in circulating for C-sections Knowledge of high-risk antepartum care Recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns Triage experience preferred Ability to float to related units such as Mom/Baby and postpartum Call requirement: 36 hours in 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period Every other weekend and holiday required Description: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a high-risk unit. NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM through NCC are required. Candidates must have high-risk experience. This position involves assisting with high-risk deliveries. Registered Nurses will be responsible for circulating C-sections. Knowledge of recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns is essential. Triage experience is preferred. There is a call requirement of 36 hours in 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period. Candidates must be on the premises within 45 minutes of receiving a call. Floating to similar units such as Mom/Baby and postpartum may be required. Every other weekend and holiday work is mandatory.
