Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000

Company Overview:

Tiello is partnered with a highly regarded local Owner's Representative based in the greater Redondo Beach, CA area , in their search for a Construction Manager (Owner's Representative - Commercial Construction) to lead and manage Ground-Up and TI projects in the Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, Grocery Store, Office, Gas Station, & Hospitality Industries ranging in value up to $30 M.

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience as a Construction Manager, Assistant Construction Manager, or Project Engineer in the Commercial Construction Industry as an Owner's Representative and will be responsible for leading successful Ground-Up and TI Projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Able to perform all essential Construction Manager job responsibilities
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price
• Establish and help maintain project schedules
• Oversee the design of the project, helping to lead the design to the interests of the Owner, and keeping in mind the budget and schedule
• Perform constructability reviews, of proposed methods of construction, and construction details
• Oversee the project finances, keeping track of project budget, and utilized billings and changes
• Responsible for contract development and management of both internal contract as well as those of General Contractor and Subcontractors
• Relationship development to ensure positive and professional client interactions, and the desire for repeat clients
• Help maintain the project schedule and budget
• Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and General Contractor, and Subcontractors
• Manage project deliverables
• Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related to an Engineering field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Construction Manager, Assistant Construction Manager, or Project Engineer for an Owner's Representative
• Commercial, Retail, Grocery Store, Office, Gas Station, Restaurant Project Experience
• MS Office, Excel, MS Project, Bluebeam, Adobe, Procore, Proficiency preferred
