Wire Harness Assembler

Job Description

The Wire Harness Assembler is a key member of a small production team responsible for building and testing wire harness assemblies. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this role involves daily hands-on assembly and testing tasks using basic hand tools and specialized machinery. Precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols are essential to ensure high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities

Prepare cables and wires for assembly
Perform crimping and soldering tasks
Assemble wire harnesses according to specifications
Inspect assemblies for quality and accuracy
Test wire harnesses to ensure proper functionality
Document assembly processes and test results
Maintain compliance with safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years experience in wire harness assembly
Proficient in hand soldering and crimping
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of electrical systems
