VAT Analyst

As a full-time remote VAT Analyst, the successful candidate will ensure indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions by accurately preparing and filing VAT returns, managing tax data, and providing technical support to align operational processes with global tax regulations. Key responsibilities Collect, validate, and reconcile data to prepare and submit timely VAT returns and other related declarations Ensure proper coding of financial transactions in the ERP system to facilitate correct VAT treatment Act as the primary point of contact for tax audits, coordinating responses and implementing corrective measures as needed Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a finance-related field Fluency in English and another language Deep understanding of VAT principles and accounting knowledge Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex data sets Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Excel
