Programmer Analyst

IDR is seeking a Programmer Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves supporting business operations through software development, testing, and maintenance of applications within a collaborative team environment. The organization operates within the technology and higher education sectors, focusing on innovative software solutions and system enhancements.

Position Overview for the Programmer Analyst: Develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications aligned with business requirements. Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. Supervise or lead the development of new systems, manage changes to existing systems, and control system interfaces. Initiate complex feasibility studies and provide strategic recommendations. Collaborate with team members, including junior and experienced developers, to support project goals. Requirements for the Programmer Analyst: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or a related field. 2+ years of relevant full-time paid experience. Experience thinking logically through programming challenges and explaining technical concepts clearly. Strong business acumen with effective communication skills.
