Director of Data Center Acquisitions

Our client, a $20B+ real estate investment firm, is seeking a Director of Data Center Acquisitions to join the team.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the investment roadmap for expanding the North American data center portfolio, identifying new opportunities in established and emerging markets.
- Leverage deep knowledge of data center markets to inform business decisions and shape the company’s real estate strategy. Maintain insight into competitive landscapes, regional trends, and capital markets.
- Structure and close acquisitions and development deals in collaboration with internal teams, financial partners, and external stakeholders. Oversee feasibility studies, underwriting, due diligence, and transaction closing.
- Prepare materials such as investment memorandums, presentations, and proposals and present findings to the executive leadership team.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, investors, and enterprise clients. Coordinate with equity partners and lenders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Advise senior leadership and the board on strategic real estate initiatives, providing clear insights on costs, risks, and returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Real Estate, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
- 8-10+ years of real estate investment, acquisitions, or development experience
- Data center or mission-critical infrastructure experience is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proven record leading complex transactions from origination to closing
- Experience collaborating with hyperscale or enterprise-level clients preferred
