Hospital Registration Specialist

Job Description:

Responsible for greeting and registering all incoming patients and their representatives; ensuring necessary information required for admission is accurately recorded and processed while maintaining confidentiality within HIPPA guidelines. Plays a pivotal role in the operational efficiency of healthcare services delivery.

Qualifications:

• Shift: FULL TIME EVENINGS (2-10:30p)
• Education: High School or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years hands-on experience in a hospital registration setting or Urgent Care preferred.
• Technical Skills: Computer proficiency includes word processing and patient accounting system.
• HIPPA and PCI Compliance required.
• Insurance knowledge preferred.
• License/Certification: None
• Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient. Some positions may require accurate interpretation and translation in a bilingual targeted language.
