Job Description:

The RN will work in the Labor and Delivery unit, providing care for patients in labor and postpartum. Experience in circulating for C-sections is required, with scrubbing experience preferred. The nurse will float as needed to the Postpartum unit.

Responsibilities:

• Care for laboring patients with a ratio of 2 to 1, following AWOHNN guidelines.
• Provide couplet care with a 1 to 4 ratio.
• Circulate for C-sections and assist in high-risk deliveries.
• Administer medications and manage fetal heart monitoring.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification is required for L&D.
• COVID vaccine required.
