Trial Court Clerk IISeeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trial Court Clerk II. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing court cases, supporting courtroom operations, and assisting the public, legal professionals, and partner agencies. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the District Court.Key Responsibilities:Accurately receive, docket, and process court casesIssue legal documents and follow established court proceduresSchedule hearings and maintain the court calendarProcess payments and prepare court docketsProvide support and information to judges, attorneys, self-represented litigants, law enforcement, and the general public via phone, email, and in personFacilitate courtroom proceedings in person and virtuallyOperate courtroom recording and virtual conferencing technologyCommunicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writingHandle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentialityMake decisions based on applicable laws, rules, and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by the Clerk of the District CourtRequired Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentAt least one year of clerical experience (legal or court-related experience preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with virtual platforms such as ZoomAbility to manage phone calls and in-person interactionsStrong multitasking and organizational skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsApplications will be accepted until: Open until filled The Americans with Disabilities Act ensures your right to reasonable accommodations during the employment process.
