What You'll Do

• Provide safe, patient-centered labor and delivery care, including assessments, monitoring, and interventions
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor responses, and document patient progress
• Support emotional and educational needs of patients and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and certification standards
• Participate in new nurse orientation and ongoing competency assessments
• Manage clinical contingencies and delegate appropriately within your scope of practice

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Texas or compact state
• Current BLS, NRP, ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• Certification in AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC EFM required
• At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills
