Job Summary:
A position for a Travel Nurse specializing in Oncology is available in Rocklin, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for adult oncology patients across various diagnoses, including hematology, neurology, and gastroenterology. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position involves working days shifts with a schedule of 10 hours per shift, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours weekly.
• Required Qualifications: California licensure, 3 years of nursing experience with travel experience, proficiency with Epic?? health records system, certifications including ACLS, BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), and OCN.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior charge nurse experience, patient ratio experience of 3, charting experience in Epic.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing ports, chemotherapy administration, blood transfusions, and using specialized equipment such as infusion pumps, PICC lines, and central lines. The role also involves patient education, medication management, and safety precautions related to oncology care.
