What You’ll Do – Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding company performance standards. Coach, lead, and develop all team members to build new business and increase store growth through knowledge of and training on systems, company standards, account management, recovery (collections), job duties, and performance reports. Lead marketing strategy for local teams, business‑to‑business partnerships, referrals, community and in‑store events to steer growth and build revenue. Examine, evaluate, and process loan or pawn applications and related transactions, assessing risk within established limits. Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations. Participate in audits and compliance reviews as directed by corporate office or district manager. Supervise and maintain office security, including cash management, loss prevention, and documentation of cash overages/shortages, vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses. Conduct proper opening and closing procedures and train new staff in keyholder duties. Participate in selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees. Develop work schedules according to budget, workloads, and store needs; ensure the store is staffed for optimal performance. Handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism. Maintain internal and external store appearance, including scheduling maintenance services and ensuring proper display of marketing materials. Perform duties outside the office, when applicable, such as on‑site vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing. Work efficiently in a rapidly changing, fast‑paced environment and handle multiple challenging tasks to meet individual and team performance standards. Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership. Maintain a full‑time work schedule with regular in‑person attendance, including weekends – a minimum of 40 hours per week. What We’re Looking For – Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using phones, point of sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle (mileage compensated). Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama). Background check required. Ability to meet physical demands: standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; operating mechanical controls such as keyboard. Nice to Haves – Preferred Qualifications and Skills Associate’s degree or higher. Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing. Bilingual (English/Spanish) – may be required for certain locations.
