Production Assembly Associate

Job Description

Primary Staffing is hiring a dependable and hardworking Production Assembly Associate to support production operations in Itasca. This position will support assembly and fabrication teams, follow detailed production instructions, maintain quality standards, and assist with daily production goals.The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing or production experience, is comfortable working with tools and equipment, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

• Support daily production and assembly tasks.
• Follow detailed shop trackers and production instructions.
• Assist assembly and fabrication teams with daily production goals.
• Use tools, machinery, and production equipment as trained.
• Assist with inventory control and product auditing.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and report production or quality issues.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area.
• Communicate and collaborate with supervisors and team members.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting materials up to 60 lbs.
• Stand for most of the shift in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience required.
• Experience working in a high-volume assembly environment preferred.
• Ability to use tools and production equipment.
• Comfortable lifting and handling up to 60 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards.
• Strong communication skills.
• English proficiency required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Schedule & Pay Location: Itasca, IL1st shift: 7 am to 3:30 pm
Pay: $20.00/hour
