Caregiver/ Direct Support Professional

Are you compassionate, dependable, and looking for a meaningful part-time position? Join our team and make a lasting impact by providing one-on-one support to a 40-year-old man with Angelman syndrome who lives independently in his own apartment in Eau Claire.

Position Responsibilities
As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
- Provide supportive home care and assist with personal care needs.
- Offer companionship and encourage participation in community and recreational activities.
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and household organization.
- Provide transportation to appointments and community outings.
- Follow the individual's support plan while promoting independence, dignity, and personal choice.
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
Schedule
Part-Time
- Every other Sunday: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
- Additional hours may be available.
- Fill-in and substitute shifts are also available for those seeking extra hours.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Be dependable, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Successfully pass a background check.
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is welcomed but not required. Paid training is provided.
Pay
Starting at $16.00 per hour
