Responsibilities

Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples and other specimens from patients following established protocols

Greet patients professionally, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident before specimen collection

Assist with patient check-ins via kiosks or handheld devices, providing guidance and assistance as needed

Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient information

Ensure the safety and confidentiality of patient data and specimens at all times

Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment within the clinical setting

Support team members by covering breaks and assisting in other duties as directed by supervisors

Required Skills

High level of customer service skills and the ability to handle patients with care and compassion

Strong communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build trust with patients

Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry to accurately document specimen collection details

Ability to perform phlebotomy duties confidently following established procedures

Basic understanding of specimen processing and clinical practices

Additional Skills & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required, no exceptions

Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience, such as retail or home health aide roles

Previous phlebotomy experience required

Reliable transportation to and from the assigned work site; candidates within a 20-25 minute commute preferred

Ability to work flexible shifts, maintain punctuality, and stay for entire scheduled shifts

Schedule availability must align with shift requirements without conflicts from school or other commitments
