Position Summary The dishwasher performs a variety of food service functions and maintains clean and sanitary conditions of food services, facilities, and equipment. Responsibilities include removal of all garbage, leaving machinery empty, clean and dry, and floors clean after each meal. All duties are performed consistently with the Maplewood Senior Living philosophy. Key Responsibilities Follow the posted work schedule and arrive on time in appropriate work attire. Properly wash China, flatware, glassware, and other kitchen equipment including machine rinse pressure and water temperature. Maintain the kitchen and assigned areas in a sanitary manner. Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with coworkers and residents. Be familiar with food handling procedures and regulations. Operate kitchen appliances such as the dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker, and ice machine. May be required to help with food preparation, inventory, maintenance, food deliveries, and shelf stocking. Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification Some kitchen experience is desirable.
