Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing services in specialized or general radiologic technology.
• Performing standard and complex imaging protocols.
• Working independently at various tours of duty, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
• Performing routine diagnostic radiographic examinations.
• Conferring with radiologists for non-standard exams.
• Performing radiographic exams utilizing standard protocols.
• Notifying radiologists of studies requiring immediate attention.
• Explaining exams and procedures to patients.
• Ensuring all images have the correct accession number.
• Registering, requesting, canceling, and editing exams through various computer programs.
• Informing patients of exam preparations.
• Practicing radiation safety.
• Screening child-bearing age patients for pregnancy.
• Ensuring film badges are worn during radiographic examinations.
• Troubleshooting and reporting problems to the appropriate authority.
• Stewarding proper handling of radiographic equipment.
• Performing basic and advanced PACS procedures.
• Following Release of Information and HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintaining flexibility and competency in assigned duties.
• Ensuring department security.
• Performing administrative duties.
• Maintaining adequate supplies.
• Maintaining required licensures and skill certifications.
• Performing other related duties.

Pay: Competitive salary and regular salary increases.

Paid Time Off: 37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year.
