Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their practice in Andover, MA. The firm represents small businesses, nonprofits, employers, and professionals in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, focusing on employment law, business disputes, civil litigation, and healthcare law. Duties Represent clients in state and federal court litigation and administrative proceedings. Handle matters involving employment law, healthcare law, professional licensing, and business disputes. Manage cases through all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation. Advise healthcare professionals on licensing, regulatory compliance, and disciplinary matters before state licensing boards. Counsel employers and small businesses on workplace, operational, and general business matters. Draft legal memoranda, motions, contracts, correspondence, and other litigation-related documents. Conduct legal research and develop strategic recommendations for clients. Participate in client meetings, court appearances, and administrative hearings. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to practice in Massachusetts; New Hampshire admission is a plus. 2-5 years of experience in litigation, employment, healthcare, administrative, or business law preferred. Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to independently manage matters while collaborating with a team. Experience appearing before administrative agencies or licensing boards is preferred. Interest in healthcare, regulatory, and employment law matters. Education J.D. from an accredited law school.
