Quality InspectorMaterion Corporation is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure our advanced materials and components meet exacting aerospace, electronics, and industrial standards. In this manufacturing role, you will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using precision measurement tools, interpret blueprints and specifications, and accurately document results in quality systems. Partnering with production and engineering teams, you'll help resolve nonconformances, support root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement while working in a safety-focused, collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesInspect manufactured parts and materials using gauges, calipers, microscopes, and other precision toolsVerify products meet dimensional, cosmetic, and performance specifications and customer requirementsDocument inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions in quality systemsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and inspection plansPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentCollaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrenceSupport root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiativesFollow all safety, quality, and cleanroom/handling procedures as requiredRequired SkillsQuality inspectionPrecision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Blueprint and technical drawing readingGD&T basicsDimensional inspectionDocumentation and quality recordkeepingNonconformance reporting (NCR)Root cause analysis supportISO 9001 / AS9100 familiarityStatistical sampling and inspection plans
