AI Innovation Lead

I'm working with a leading US law firm that's continuing to significantly expand its AI & Innovation team, with two new senior hires planned. This isn't simply an AI adoption or implementation role. They're looking for someone sitting genuinely at the intersection of law, AI and software development, who can work directly with attorneys while also getting hands-on technically. You'll be working across: APIs and custom integrations Custom AI workflows and agents LLM evaluation and automated evaluation pipelines Harvey, Legora, CoCounsel, Lexis AI and emerging Legal AI platforms A JD and previous legal practice experience are strongly preferred, alongside 2+ years of meaningful hands-on AI experience. The team has significant investment and visibility from firm leadership, but is still early enough that these hires will have a genuine voice in how AI is developed and deployed across the firm. Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 remote Multiple US offices available, excluding the West Coast If you've made the move from law into genuinely technical AI work, or you're already building Legal AI solutions hands-on, I'd be interested in speaking.
